Would like info on the John Ross House in Rossville Ga?
I am familiar with the John Ross house. Rossville is right next to Chattanooga, TN, the city limits are marked by a line in the street John Ross was a Cherokee Chief and what is now called Chattanooga used to be Ross’ Landing. I may be wrong, but I think he was removed to Oklahoma during the Indian Removal, the Trail of Tears, during Andrew Jackson’s administration. I don’t know about the present ownership of the house, but my idea is that it is museum. Look up “john ross house” on google and you will find everything you want to know.
