Would LCRA mitigate any negative effects from groundwater pumping?
If it is found that a groundwater well being used for the project is impacting a well owner’s ability to take and use water from an existing well, the project would provide appropriate mitigation, even though this may not be required by groundwater conservation district rules or state law. Mitigation plans will be detailed in the project implementation plan being developed during the study period.
