Would it be useful to purchase both the Lucidea Microarray ScoreCard and the Lucidea Universal ScoreCard?

It would be acceptable and useful to use both sets of controls in an experiment but be sure to keep in mind that the experiment would need to be for either mouse or human since the Lucidea Microarray ScoreCard is limited to these species. There is some redundancy in functionality between the two products in that the Microarray ScoreCard generates a partial “dynamic range” while Universal ScoreCard delivers a more complete dynamic range with its calibration curve. Both products have similar ratio controls and identical negative controls. The main difference and additional benefit from using the Microarray Scorecard would be having positive and housekeeping controls.
