Would it be even safer if I still use a bedside leucodepletion filter?

All blood components will still require administration via a standard blood giving set containing a 170 – 200 micron aggregate filter. Bedside leucodepletion will not provide any further reduction in the leucocyte content of blood components and, therefore, will not provide any additional benefit to pre-storage leucodepletion.
