To answer you, unfortunately anywhere in the world it is not easy looking after 2 small kids and being unemployed, you will not like the answers to your question, but you have to be realistic. One cant just decide to go to a kibbutz and expect them to sponsor you and your family,Kibbutzim are not what they used to, everyone works hard to make ends meet, plus you have to prove that you will be a valuable asset to the Kibbutz and the other members.Today the Kibbutzim are are growing smaller and becoming just a regular place to live in, where you work for a salary, or you work outside of the kibbutz, and you eat your meals at home rather than in the main dining hall. Usually if you are married to the kibbutz member you are welcomed by the community. But if you are a new member coming in with no relation, you need to get approved by a board.
