It is very much cheaper to ship by sea. It takes alot longer to get freight by sea than it does by air. If something costs $4000 and takes 1 week to ship from Europe to Oregon by air for example, it will be about $1500 to ship by sea and 4-6 weeks. If you have the weight and dimensions of your crates you can call any of the freight companies and get quotes – which if you are doing a Deca project, you might as well go all the way and get accurate information.
