Hi there You don’t look like a strong candidate for a graduate entry scheme for a couple of reasons. One is that you don’t have A levels. Employers are increasingly going back to putting emphasis on these because research shows that A level grades are a better predictor of eventual management competence than a degree. Strange but true! Secondly they prefer ‘academic’ degrees rather than ones in things like graphic design. They don’t have to be from a traditional university, but a ‘university college’ doesn’t usually cut it. And, of course, they like recent graduates rather than people who got their qualification awhile ago. Your CIM qualification, on the other hand, is likely to be regarded far more favourably, but it will depend, to some extent, where you got it from. Your best bet might well be to ‘top up’ that CIM qualification to Diploma level, preferably at a strong university – you can do this part time if you need to.
