Would global, massive reforestation projects help to curb global warming?

Not really since most deforestation takes place to either open up farm land or to harvest wood that nature will replenish. In areas where they don’t replant or use for farm land then yes being better stewards of wood lots makes sense. Also since global warming is mainly natural driven, do you think planting a few trees or reducing CO2 emissions that have not been proven to drive climate change will help?
