Would getting rid of religious based schools reduce racism and religious hatred?

I don’t think it is the schools who aren’t ‘mixing’ the kids. I think it has to do with the parents and their role in bringing up their children. Most religious institutions don’t promote hate, they might make the claim that they are the only right true way, and then twisted people turn it into hating other religions. When it comes to parents sending their children to religious schools it has to do with what they believe to be right. Their religion basically says “go and spread the good news” In the end it has to do with the parents and what they instill in their children. Right or wrong, that is the way it is, and the way it will continue to be sadly. When I was younger my parents did send me to Christian School and when I was 16 I decided to go a different path and become pagan. I think we all get to decide for ourselves once we reach a certain age. And I’ve never heard a legit religious group promote racism.
