Would exceptional reflexes be the common denominator between baseball players and hockey players?
Guiel: I think that’s it. In baseball, you’re sitting there all quiet and waiting to react to a 90 mile per hour pitch with movement leaving the pitcher’s hand. In hockey, you have to react on the fly to the speed of the puck and the speed of the players around you. Without tremendous reflexes, you won’t go very far in either sport.
