Would eating protein rich foods help with the size of my muscles?
Eating protein withing 2 hours after exercising can help signal your body to start creating it’s own amino acids and proteins in the muscles. Eating lean meats is the best source since the protein structure in meats is most similar to protein in human muscle, but using protein shakes or other sources can be beneficial as well. Eating protein post-exercise has been shown to aid in creation of muscular proteins, which will contribute to increases in muscular size. Also, eating carbohydrate sources can also help replenish blood glucose and glycogen stores, helping your muscles recover from fatigue more quickly.
