Would Divine wrath stop sorcerer of dark magic?

In this case, I believe that Divine Wrath would work. Sorcerer of Dark Magic’s effect is not a Continuous Effect, it is an Ignition Effect. You need to manually activate his effect, which in turn, would start a chain. Each card can only activate once in any given chain. This is similar to Light and Darkness Dragon’s effect. If you were to activate a card, then LADD would activate starting a chain. You can now chain a Quickplay Spell or a Trap card to LADD’s effect and your 2nd Spell or Trap will go through as LADD can’t activate again while it is in the current chain. So therefore, in your scenario, you activate Needle Wall, your opponent then chooses to activate Sorcerer of Dark Magic’s effect to negate Needle Wall, then you chain Divine Wrath to Negate and Destroy Sorcerer of Dark Magic. Your opponent can’t activate Sorcerer of Dark Magic again as it is still in the current chain. I really hope this made any kind of sense. It was a really good question too.
