Would Dalrymple consider running for governor in 2012?
“I’m organizing my life now so that I’ll be prepared to serve as governor in 2011 and 2012 because that certainly is a possibility,” Dalrymple said. He said that after taking over the office for a while, he could assess running for governor. “There’s nothing that would prevent me from considering that at that point in time,” he said. When does the Democratic Party expect to announce candidates? Officials with the party say they are still waiting for things to pan out over the next couple weeks but expect multiple candidates.
