Bruce Lee had no recorded belt in Japanese or Korean martial arts or sash in Chinese martial arts. He studied Wing Chun for about 5 years, but Yip Man his teacher was not pleased with him. He was too immature and egotistical to learn the lessons properly and advance. Many men and ladies master Wing Chun in a year, so the fact that Bruce Lee did not in 5 years shows us something about him. Your hypothetical bout depends upon the particular man who has a 10th level black belt. Some schools are a waste of time, and the belts they hand out are worthless, but a genuine 10th dan black belt from a good school could easily beat Bruce Lee who was an actor and never competed after high school boxing.
