They will help you with your software issues. Make an appointment. There should be no charge. You can make an appointment on the apple.com website from the support section. Just bring the computer, and a blank disk to show the problem. Arrive about 5 minutes early, goto the Genius Bar and hang out. They will call you and your name will be on an overhead display showing where you are on the list.
