Would anyone recommend buying a Peugeot 106 gti?
Depends what you’re looking for in a car. If you get a good one they’re great wee cars. Fast, great handling, good fuel economy, cheap to run, but they are really tinny by most modern car standards, and the 40mph shunt which in a new Clio you’d walk away from thinking “bugger, there goes my no-claim bonus”, would kill you in a 106! Also most of them have been well and truly rogered by the Max Power brigade, who think that £400 for a new sub is a better idea than new shock absorbers. Buy the best there is, or don’t bother.
very cheaply made, all panels are easily scratched and crack inside because they are cheap plastic, the letters GTi will automaticly cost you on the insurance side of things, a boy racer type car means your car will be usd for spare parts by them when you leave it unattended, say goodbye to your hubcaps everytime you leave the car unattended in case its the last time you see them..
