Would an Akadema first base fast pitch glove work for baseball?
Akadema first base glove is a great glove to use for fast pitch softball, allowing better grip and control of glove when fielding a softball. From some testimonials of friends with the glove they love it’s comfort and they have improved their fielding and reduced errors. However, the issue’s I’ve seen is a baseball is smaller then a softball and more fielding maneuvers happen generally at first in baseball then softball. It’s size can slow your pulling the ball out of the glove converting double plays and throws to other bases, it’s bulk also makes it more awkward fielding a grounder you’ll make a diving play on. Otherwise for recreational purposes, its a great glove and will help your game.
