Would air ionizer/purifier effect on room temperature ?
There are two things to consider here if the air purifier has a blower fan, one would be to determine if the room is somewhat sealed and the second being the consideration of the room size compared to the air purifier capacity. 1. If the room is somewhat sealed, insulated, weather-tight, etc. then the air temperature would not be affected by the air purifier/ionizer. IF the room is NOT weather-tight, then the air circulated by the air purifier would be drawing colder air in from outdoors, in which case, this would affect the air temperature in the room. 2. If the room is very small and the air purifier is too large for the room size, then the constant draft of the airflow would make the room feel cooler causing you to raise the thermostat.
