No, that’s not going to work. Here are your options: 1. Use a wireless access point that lets you set it up as a bridge. If you have a Linksys router, you might be able to install DD-WRT firmware. You then connect it to the Ethernet port on the back of the router. 2. Buy the Xbox 360 wireless adapter. 3. Run a long Ethernet cable across the floor, or get a contractor to install an ethernet network through your walls and install 2 wall jacks. 4. Go with powerline. This is the easiest solution and the best compromise to a wireless network. Options 1 and 2 are the most difficult to setup. The bottom 2 options are the easiest to setup.
