Although body mods are becoming more and more accepted, there is a line drawn when it comes to more than one facial piercing, as well as tattoos on areas such as the face, head, neck, and hands – especially on women. I applaud you for being brave enough to fight those norms and express yourself in the ways that you choose. And although it’s not fair or right that your unique appearance be so important, that’s just the way it is. My husband is covered in tattoos and he gets nasty looks almost every time we leave the house even though he does not have any on his face, head, or hands.
