Would a silenced barrett 50 cal with stopping power be a one hit kill?
If you are playing Hardcore then it will be one shot one kill. If you are playing Casual it depends on where you hit them. If you hit them in the head it is a one-shot (obviously). The neck is one-shot. If you hit them in a limb it is not a one-shot kill. If you hit them in the chest it depends on how close you are. At long range where you will probably be sniping, the chest won’t kill. Also, FMJ doesn’t increase damage like it says it does. All it does is reduce the damage penalty when shooting someone through cover. Personally, I don’t put a silencer on the Barret. I use the Barret without the silencer so I can make sure it is always a one-shot kill even if I miss their head. Use the silencer on other snipers. But I’m usually playing on hardcore though, where it doesn’t matter. For Casual try: Barret 50.
