Dwarf frogs don’t generally eat fish, and I can’t imagine a small dwarf frog being able to fit a neon in it’s mouth, since they stay in the 1 inch range. Are you sure it’s an African “dwarf” frog and not an African “clawed” frog? Clawed frogs grow larger, and will eat fish. I don’t have my links handy, but do a search and compare the differences between the two, as far as I know, only the dwarf frogs will have all 4 feet webbed. Clawed frogs front feet should be claws, and not webbed. And, there are no albino dwarf frogs, those are all clawed frogs. And it’s very common for pet stores to mislabel the 2 species of frogs and get them wrong. Another issue, if that is indeed a dwarf frog you have, and you said it’s really fat……frogs are susceptible to dropsy like fish get. Basically it’s an internal condition/infection that causes the frog/fish to swell up with fluids, and 9 times out of 10 it’s fatal. For your missing neon, keep checking the tank and decorations.
