You needed a few more options on your poll. Yes, building a mosque on the former site of the World Trade Center CAN cause a problem. There are still a lot of hard feelings among Americans concerning what happened there. So, “desecrating that hallowed ground” by building a mosque on it can create problems for some people, including those that own and worship at the mosque. In writing this, don’t think that I am necessarily opposed to the idea. Personally, I have mixed emotions about it. I would say that it depends what is going to be preached at the mosque. It is my understanding that this is supposed to be a combination house of worship and community center. So, if it is used to help build bridges of understanding between Muslims and those of other faiths, then I think that it would be a good addition to the grounds. It would be a way for the Islamic community to show their condemnation for those radical members of their faith that brought down the towers and killed so many people. If
