Corey, well I wish you well. First you must get yourself your 2.1 or 1st. This will set up well for any Masters course. Is it an MA, MPhil or MSc which you are going for? This will not matter to a company but will affect the academic approach of your studies. Obviously if you have a Masters it will be better than a Bachelor’s, but I would look at other Accountancy higher qualifications as well before making a final choice. Have you thought about professional qualifications as well such as CIMA? Also ACCA and CFA Chartered Financial Analyst- which I admit I know little about but which would get you to work in the City I believe. These professional qualifications can help you land a very good job as well, which is what you’re attempting to do surely after studies.
