Would a man who is about to divorce buy a second new house?

0

If this man bought a second home but his name was on the deeds to the property then the house is his and his alone, if he sold the property then maybe some of the proceeds would have to go to the upkeep of his young son. If he is living in the marital home “because of the son” then buying a second home would presumably be somewhere for him to live after the divorce and somewhere for his son to come for access visits. If the first house is to be lived in by the wife and she is a joint mortgage owner then she is as liable for the mortgage as the man, “jointly and separably accountable” etc., make certain that this man knows exactly how much he needs to pay out each month in order to keep both homes. If his wife is not working then he is the one that has to pay the mortgage on the first house and if he is buying a second one then he has to pay for this one too, thats aside from any maintenance for his son. So unless this man is nothing short of a millionaire I cant see how its going to be
