Yes, a horse might put its ears back if you were too heavy, but horses do put their ears back for many things. Remember- horses are strong, strong animals! Try to just enjoy the ride and not worry about self- confidence issues such as weight. Riding is fun, and it can even help you to get in shape! (Although running or jogging might be a more efficient idea) Now, what would they do? That depends on the horse! Some may rerfuse to move, while as others would rear, kick, spin, or buck to get you off their back. If you are a beginner rider you shouldn’t worry. If you are taking lessons at a nice facility, the temperate of the horses should be mild, and most instructors know how to put a horse in its place… I’m sure you’ll be fine.
