Would a Golden Retriever and a Black Lab puppies in one house be crazy constantly?
Most Retriever type dogs tend to start “settling down” at about age five. Up until then, they can be pretty lively dog that strongly require human intervention by way of TRAINING and PLANNED activities to do. If YOU don’t give them acceptable things to do, they will come up with their own ideas of fun…and you may not like what they come up with! Regular training, and figuring out a JOB for these happy dogs to do…(even when goofy as hell, they are almost always WILLING in spirit to take some directions!) will go a long way to creating a more relaxed and content environment for you and your loving, brilliant canine friends!
