Would a garage maintenance light (With halogen bulb) produce a white light?
Yes. Sort of. It is not a question of will the light produce a white hue, because none of them really will. Even the flash built in to the camera. It is a question of white balance. You can use any lighting you really want and any bulb that you want to try. But what you will have to do is white balance the camera accordingly. Look for setting a white balance in your owner’s manual. It is really easy and will get you the results you are looking for with the lights you have.
