I have recently found out that my elderly mother has been contacted by a letting agent threatning to take here to court for rent arrears for a family member,who has put her up to be a guarantor. I have been to see the agent who gave me a copy of the Deed Of Guarantor document and to my horror I can see that the whitness signature has been forged.How would we stand if this matter went to court as the agent has indicated to recover the arrears.
