Would a 5 year old guinea pig fight with a baby guinea pig?
Yes, they will fight, only because the 5 year old wants to dominate the baby, though. To help lower the chance of much fighting, by another cage for the baby. Put the cages right next to each other so the pigs can hear each other, and maybe smell each other. They need to get used to each other. You should do this for a couple of weeks. During this time, let both of your guinea pigs out whenever you have scheduled the floor time to be. When the time is up, the best thing to do is clean the bigger cage out. Scrub so you get any of their scents away. Now, put them in the same cage. Moniter them closely for the first couple of days. Any sign of aggression, and take the baby out. Try not to do this too often, as it will just result in the pigs not getting used to each other. If the fighting gets out of hand, leave the pigs in seperate cages.
