Won’t the fencing stop people being able to walk freely on the moors?
No – not at all. As already mentioned, much of the boundaries already exist to contain the cattle and any new fences will be erected adjacent to existing stone field boundaries. Full access will be maintained and actually improved by providing increased footpath systems maintained by cattle grazing.
