When you write the article critique include the article’s name, author’s name, source and the main points of the article in your introduction. • Summarize the author’s evidence and purpose succinctly. • Identify whether the evidence supports the main points of the article. Identify the author’s area of expertise, the methods used by the author to accumulate evidence and whether the evidence is still valid. Back up your critique with reasons. • Your conclusion should include a general opinion about the article, whether you agree or disagree with the author and reasons for your conclusion.
