With the understanding that not everyone will be able to go, what tangible roles can I play right now to help prepare for the international church plant?
There are at least 3 things that every member in our church can do right now. First, we are asking everyone to pray for this church plant. Due to the fact that this is our first international church plant, we really need to depend on God for everything. Secondly, continue to be faithful in building up the church. Since the church is made up of people, we need to build up one another. As we go through this transition, we will need people who are loving and serving God passionately. One great way for people to grow is through our LIFE groups; therefore, make sure you are making the investment in building community. Lastly, there might be some unexpected needs that come along the way and we want to be ready for it, so we are challenging people to be faithful in their financial giving.
