With the stiff competition for internship positions, what are my chances of obtaining an internship?
Each year, tension builds as students realize that the selection process for internship is very competitive. Staff begin to receive questions about numbers of successful applicants in previous years. Students want to know who is applying so that they can compare themselves to other students and try to determine if they have a “chance.” Gossip begins to get out of hand and negative talk starts to increase discouragement and stress for students. This is not an environment that is conducive to success.
