Yes, but only when properly installed. All motion sensors need to be located, adjusted and installed properly to assure they do not trip by accident due to your building’s heat coming on or pet movement when you have dogs and cats. New technology now allows motion sensors to be ever more stable, but no motion detector, if installed improperly, will ever be 100% reliable.
