With Sanbor manufacturing its products in China, how is my Intellectual Property protected?
I.P. protection is a primary concern in the Sanbor organization. In order to protect our customers’ Intellectual Property, Sanbor employs a multi-tiered system that limits access to information. On a primary level, all technical information that is required in the factory is scrubbed of any customer reference prior to distribution from the headquarters. Next, all customer purchase orders are placed with the Customer Service department in Allentown, PA. The Allentown headquarters initiates the production orders to the factory, so there is no further transfer of customer specific information. Finally, as a U.S. corporation, any problems with I.P. infringment will be dealt with in the U.S. court system. To date, Sanbor has not experienced a single incident related to a customer I.P. issue.
