With Ryan out of the picture, is there room for Jack in Ericas life, again?
Walt Willey: Jack’s always been in her life and in her future. These two characters have never gotten to finish their story. There’s always an interruption by their children, circumstance or fickleness. As far as I’m concerned, what the fans want is what the show should be doing. We were trying to reinvent the wheel and ignore all the baggage of history and legacy. This is a genre about history and legacy and if you don’t include it, you’re just not writing for this genre. The fans want to see Jack and Erica finish what they started. It would be good for the show and we have a good time working together. I think Susan would tell you the same thing, and if she doesn’t, by god, you let me know!
