With no caterer, how do I arrange to get the food on the table?
Ask the venue. They often have a list of people/members who will gladly hire out to cook and serve. A couple of local clubs do this, the ladies are familiar with the facility, and do not charge a lot. My Dad’s friend arranged Dad’s funeral dinner with just such a person. Dad’s retirement party was a different venue, but same type of people. They worked cheap. Friends of friends often work, sometimes people just want extra money, and have some restaurant experience. Call a caterer and explain you have the food. See if they can send someone to heat it up and serve it and clean up.
