With Nightwish such an active band, how difficult has it been to keep Tarot going over the years?
Not really that difficult. There’s a good situation with Tarot and Nightwish in the way that we have the same booking agency – we have the same management – so there are these guys who know where I should be sometimes even when I don’t. So we can easily avoid double bookings and things like that because we have the same office. And so far, things have been working pretty well with these bands – so whenever the other one is touring, the other one rests – and when the touring is over, the other one starts to work on the album and starts to do shows and stuff like that. So yeah, that’s how it goes… Have the two bands ever had the opportunity of touring together – or would you ever want to? We’ve done some festivals where we have both been involved playing. So far, it’s been pretty nice. Both bands are four of my best friends, so I enjoy the situation. But if we should plan a whole tour, then the double work might get overwhelming.
