I think it may help if we review some things first: 1. Your Internet speed is controlled by your ISP and is at a rate for which you have subscribed. There is nothing you can do to change this limitation (except change your subscription to a faster connection). 2. If you have 2 users both downloading large files simultaneously, and if the downloading servers are running at the speed of your Internet connection, each of the two users will see a download speed of about 1/2 of the total speed because the capacity is allocated equally to both users. If you had 10 users downloading under the same conditions, each would see about 1/10 of the total speed since it is being spread over all 10 users. 3. Most file downloading servers to not run at your internet speed. Usually they are throttled back. In fact the speed of a downloading server is not to be considered your actual Internet speed. Since most downloading servers run at a fraction of your internet speed you may not notice any actual slow
