With an automated system, would there be any changes to Recycling pick-up?
If the Township automated solid waste collection, residents would have carts of different colors—one or more for trash, one for co-mingled glass, aluminum and plastic recyclables, and one for paper. The Township is, however, considering adding additional items to the commingle (such as #3 – #7 plastics) for its new commingle contract to be bid late this year.
