With all these reduction: Is RoL a beginners game ?
From personal experience, having played both RoL and RoN a great deal, I’d say that the level of complexity has given way to a more immersive feel in gameplay. Decisions made about what technologies to research and where to gather resources have a greater impact on the outcome of the game. While it may seem from what we’ve discussed in terms of numbers that there are fewer things than Rise of Nations, I assure you, there are a great number of things we will be revealing in the coming months that will enlighten and delight. And there are by far more unit types in Rise of Legends than there were in RoN.
