With all of the changes, are there any original members of Oceano left?
None of us are really “original,” not even the guy we joined the band with, who kept the band alive, was original. A lot of the band members weren’t as dedicated and weren’t as patient as we are. Just being a band, a lot of the guys [thought] “Oh, this is a get famous quick kind of deal.” And as soon as the core members, which is me, Danny, and Adam, joined a lot changed and it came to the point where either the whole band left or Jeremy [left], who all these other members had left [because of]. So we just thought it was the best vision [for him to leave]. Why do you think the new line-up will be successful? As soon as Adam and me joined we brought in more of a business, more of an organized feel to Oceano. There were a lot of changes made, that’s how we got Danny, but now everyone is finally on the same page, everyone is finally getting along. It’s fun again to be in the band. Everyone is writing. We are already writing stuff for the next new beat. It’s just a lot more fun and everyon
