With AFL when there is a draw what should happen?

This is how i see it. Keep it how it is, a draw is a draw. BUT, when it’s your own team, and it’s a game that virtually determines where you finish, it’s a different story. This game is an example. An Essendon win would edge them closer to securing a spot in the finals, but a draw just ruins it. —They should make it that every team plays each other once in the first 15 rounds and if there is a draw after round 15, play an extra 5 minutes each way. Generally in the last few rounds, the final 8 starts to shape out. So this way, if there is an important game where both sides are in the 8 or fighting for the 8, there will be one clear winner.
