With a high rate of turnovers and low shooting percentages, whats the quality of play?
ELIZABETH FARNSWORTH: Ms. Woodard, talk to us about the quality of the play. As you know, there were criticisms that there was a very high rate of turnovers and also low shooting percentages. Tell us about that. Why? LYNETTE WOODARD: I think the play has been great. I know a lot of these players. They’ve come from the leagues that were overseas and that are still there, but I think probably you saw a little nervousness because this is the first time that it’s ever been this kind of coverage for women’s basketball, for a complete season on several networks, and just, you know, to have those television appearances it makes you a little nervous, but I think that the players got–have gotten used to it. I’ve seen great play. We’ve had great games in Cleveland. I think that the fans that will tune in tomorrow for the Houston-New York game will see a brand of basketball that is at very high level.
