Wired or Wireless?
Wired systems probably are most preferred for new home construction. Wires are installed prior to dry walling. Alarm Equipment will pre-wire for you with contractor’s approval. Alarm Equipment will pre-wire for all doors and choice of 2 motion sensors or 2 glass breaks at no extra charge (included with contract for monitoring). Wireless systems are preferred for existing homes. All “devices” i.e. motion sensors, door controls, do require only 2 small holes for screws. Power cord & telephone connection are still required to operate system. These are usually “fished” through the walls. 4.
