WinFax Pro?
– Guy Reynolds [November 2, 2004] Product Rating: 1/5 Having been advised to buy winfax (25 licences) as the approved network fax product for the ERP system we are installing, I have got as far as opening the box, reading the manuals and extracting the daxshring manual off the disk. I am now going to see if Symantic hold to to their 60day money back gaurantee. If you can find it burried in their knowledge base Syamantic state they don’t support winfax on any MS Server platform, nor do they support it on networks running DHCP, nor if there is a solitary 1 or 0 in the IP address. Given that the planned install falls foul of all of these, I am not prepared to pay for licences for an unsupported product. I’m off to look at Zetafax, or even resort to Hylafax running on a Linux server.
