Windows is telling me that my computers “virtual” memory is low. What is that all about?
You have too much stuff running. Virtual memory is a combination of the ‘real’ RAM that you have in your machine, a file on the disk, called the swap file, that windows uses to store parts of memory. What the message is telling you is that this is getting full, as you have too many programs running, or you’re running a program with a memory leak. Shut some programs down until you need them and you should be golden.
