Under Windows 95/98, there are no “Program Group” windows per se, as in Windows 3.1. The closest equivalent are the Program entries in your start menu. To access the EViews Program entry, simply click on Start … Programs … Econometric Views … EViews. You may wish to place an shortcut to EViews on your desktop. Simply navigate to the EViews directory using the Windows Explorer, single click and hold on the EViews icon, and then drag it to your desktop. Windows will make an shortcut to EViews. To launch the program, simply double click on the shortcut.
