This problem has only been known to occur on Windows 3.1x systems. Generally it is the result of having networking software such as Novell on the system. The NEC-Win Pro installation diskettes include a program called Resource Monitor. Start up the resource monitor without running NEC-Win Pro. All of the resource values should be somewhere in the range of 80 – 95%. If these values are in the 60% range on a clean boot-up, then you do not have enough resources on your machine to run NEC-Win Pro reliably. If you still wish to run NEC-Win Pro please save your file periodically.
